Our 8 days tour will transport you from Vientiane to the charming town of Luang Prabang and then deep to the Center of Laos in some remote and authentic area

DAY 1 - Arrival in Vientiane

Arrival to Vientiane.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in.

DAY 2 - Vientiane - Luang Prabang

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Luang Prabang.
Luang Prabang is renowned at the cultural and religious capital of Laos. Located in the northern of Laos and is around 360 km from Vientiane. UNESCO has declared Luang Prabang a World Heritage site. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.
Afternoon, visit the National Museum, it is the former Royal Palace constructed in 1904. The former Palace displays a lovely collection of personal artifacts of the Royal family, photos, musical instruments and gifts received from foreigners. Then continue tour to visit Wat Mai & Wat Xieng Thong - the most beautiful temples in Luang Prabang. At the late evening, we will start climbing up about 300 steps to witness the memorable sunset from Mount Phousi, one of the most unforgettable sights on this tour.

DAY 3 - Luang Prabang

Morning we will start with the Mekong River Cruise, first stop will be to Tham Ting (Pak Ou Holy Caves) - The caves are famous for their miniature Buddha sculptures, hundreds of very small and mostly damaged wooden Buddhist figures are laid out over the wall shelves. They take many different arrangements, including meditation, teaching, peace, rain, and reclining (nirvana). Return to Luang Prabang. After that, excursion to Khuang Si Waterfalls, the beautiful multi-tiered Khuang Si waterfall is worth a trip for its refreshing beauty and serenity.

DAY 4 - Luang Prabang - Xieng Khouang

In the early morning, experience alms offering to a thousand monks along the streets of Luang Prabang. After breakfast, we will embark on an excursion by land from Luang Prabang to Xieng Khouang, located 435 kilometers northeast of the capital. Xieng Khouang is a mountainous region full of caves and plateau. From an aircraft, you will observe how large the province is with its vast plateau On the way, we will make stops at Phou Khoun Upon arrival in Xieng Khouang, If time permits, we will visit the side B of Plain of Jars.

DAY 5 - Xieng Khuang - Vang Vieng

Breakfast at the hotel then visit Plains of Jars, mysterious and ancient, the stone jars are apparently carved out of solid rock and area scattered all over the plateau. The Plain of Jars archaeological site is believed to be over 2,000 years old, remains a mystery. Huge jars of mysterious origin are arranged haphazardly in over a dozen different groupings, including several hundred in five major groups. Archaeologists believe the jars were used for burial purposes. The biggest jar is more than 3.25 meters high. After that, travel approximately 6hours to Vang Vieng by road, enjoy the beautiful sceneries. Upon arrival in Vang Vieng, checking in to the hotel for a good night rest.

DAY 6 - Vang Vieng - Vientiane

From Vang Vieng, we will travel back to Vientiane. On the way, visit a Temple ruin of Mons "Vang Xang", a place with old Buddha statues from 11.Century. Upon arrival in Vientiane, the rest of the day is free for you to do some last minute shopping.

DAY 7 - Vientiane

After breakfast, proceed with a day tour of Vientiane starting with a visit to That Luang Shrine (Great Sacred Stupa), the most important national monument in Vientiane, with its golden stupa believed to contain a relic of Lord Buddha. Next, visit the Patuxai Monument (Victory Gate), situated in the center of Vientiane prefecture. You may climb to the top of this victory gate monument and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. A visit to Wat Sisaket, located in Vientiane is famous for its cloister wall housing thousands of tiny Buddha images and rows with hundreds of seated Buddhas. These images mainly date from the 16th and 19th centuries and come in all sizes and are made from wood, stone and bronze – more than 6,800 Buddhas in total.
Across the street is Ho Prakeo which houses the Emerald Buddha and to serve as the King’s personal place of worship. From the terrace of Ho Prakeo, you can enjoy a view overlooking the President’s Palace. Enjoy your lunch along the Nam Ngum River. On the way back to Vientiane, you will visit the Dong Mak Khai Market where locals come and trade vegetables, wild life animals, handicrafts and other poultry.

DAY 8 - Vientiane - Departure

After breakfast, free at own leisure till your assemble time transfer to airport for your flight home.
